Tri-Valley Judo & Jiu-Jitsu

Located at 1262 Quarry Lane, Suite A, in Pleasanton, California, Tri-Valley Judo and Jiu-Jitsu was established in 2009 near Santa Rita and Valley Ave. The training center operates as a registered USA Judo Club and an IBJJF-affiliated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy, providing martial arts instruction under the leadership of Sensei Kevin. The academy instructs students ranging from ages five to sixty-five and older, drawing on American, Asian, and European martial traditions. Youth programming features a dedicated judo fundamentals class for ages five to nine that teaches safe falling methods (ukemi), balance, and basic wrestling controls, alongside an advanced class for ages 9 to 13 covering Olympic judo techniques. Adult training incorporates traditional Japanese judo throws, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu mat grappling, and wrestling transitions suited for recreation, fitness, and tournament competition. The dojo provides discounts for military members, first responders, and families, while supporting ongoing belt rank development.
